How Does Atlas 3D Print Plastic?

The 3D printer works by using a pulsating vacuum to convey the pre-cleaned, pre-shredded plastic material placed in a hopper through flexible tubing to an extruder, where it is then melted, compacted, and extruded through a nozzle. 
 

Atlas' Optional Add-Ons

Atlas has been developed with the latest technology in mind. It has been developed in regards to our future as well as the future of technology. 

Atlas can additionally support:

  • a robotic arm attached to the gantry
  • an infinite addition of tracks
